Holiday Gift Match Underway
Hi! My name is Frazier. My siblings Charlotte and Matilda, and I used to live with people who had made poor life choices that had imperiled them and us. The man whom we lived with recently passed. The woman, penniless and without any income, was last seen heading for a pawn shop to fetch enough money to go to a relative’s place. We felt sorry for them, but they had to exist in a tiny travel trailer without power, water, or garbage pickup because they chose drugs and didn’t seek to free themselves, or us, from their entrapment. Our rescuer, an In Defense of Animals team member, luckily lives near where we endured deprivation, parasites, and injury.
Charlotte has been adopted by a man who manages a restaurant. Our Matilda got months of love and care, but her ailments were to serious and she’d been neglected to long. We had to say goodbye to sweet Matilda. I’m still with my In Defense of Animals rescuer because I too have lasting health issues, but I’m happy and loved. I love my rescuer very much in return because she understands my special needs and always makes sure that I am cared for.
Please make sure that In Defense of Animals has the funding to keep saving families like ours. We were at the mercy of guardians who didn’t even have mercy for themselves.
