The Name’s Sweet Pea and don’t you forget it! My family had the audacity to toss me out on a deserted dirt road with no houses for miles. I thought I was done. Then a truck came down the road like a princess’s float and the woman got out, and with the sweetest voice, entreated me to let her save me. I didn’t think twice.

It was so meant to be. She knew there was an adoption event at a department store where dogs can go in to shop. The only rescuer who hadn’t left for the day was an In Defense of Animals team member. Need I say more?

I’m supposed to be in foster care with one of In Defense of Animals' awesome volunteers who has also adopted another rescue like me named Louise, who was rescued from a horrid hoarding case. Well, it looks like I may be home. Louise has fallen in love with me, and what Louise wants, Louise gets.
