I’m Kurt!

When the kind people from In Defense of Animals found me, all around me, my friends were being tortured and murdered – and I was next! In some parts of South Korea, dogs like me are killed in barbaric and especially cruel ways to be eaten by people during a summer “festival” known as Boknal Days.

Thankfully, before I could end up on someone’s dinner plate, I was rescued by In Defense of Animals! Kind people got me out of that cramped and bloody cage, flew me to safety in the United States, and found me a loving home with a wonderful family. Although my story is a sad one, I know that I am one of the lucky few.
