I’m Cappuccino!

I was rescued by the kind people at In Defense of Animals. Its staff were told about me and two other mares slowly starving to death in a closed in pen with no food available to us. When they found me, I was so weak I could barely keep my head up. Sometimes the other mares and I would lean on each other just to stay on our feet.

In Defense of Animals’ Justice for Animals Campaign Director, Doll Stanley went straight to working with the Sunflower County, Mississippi Prosecuting Attorney untangling the legal knot that kept is on that terrible property without any food.

A very nice person, the same one who called In Defense of Animals about us, volunteered to take us to her property and to care for us. Because of the work of Doll Stanley, she was able to do just that. Today we graze, frolic, and see which of us horses is the fastest. I love my life.
